Dr. Seneff, a senior research scientist at MIT, has been following the link between environmental toxicity and chronic neurodevelopmental symptoms. Recently, she reported that based on the historical date of incline of use of pesticides and autism, all children will have a 1 in 2 chance of becoming autistic in 2025. In addition to this she shares the following findings:
- “Children with autism have biomarkers indicative of excessive glyphosate, including zinc and iron deficiency, low serum sulfate, seizures, and mitochondrial disorder”
- Corn and soy contain these pesticides and should not be consumed.
- Only grass fed meats should be consumed. Otherwise farm animals are consuming a corn, soy diet.
- Consuming only organic fruits and vegetables and grass fed beef, organic eggs that are not vegetarian fed (soy).
- “Wheat is often sprayed with Roundup just prior to being harvested, which means that all non-organic bread and wheat products would also be sources of glyphosate toxicity.” This may explain the massive increase in non-celiac gluten sensitivity.
- MMR vaccine has been shown to increase the risk in autism, especially in black children.
- Vinyl floors containing chemicals has shown to be a strong correlation with children that develop autism.
- Glyphosate is intended to block a pathway in plants that inhibit the growth of bacteria, etc. This pathway currently exists in the human body and blocks Amino Acid pathways. Low/No amino acids, poor neurotransmitter function!
- “Glyphosate is present in unusually high quantities in the breast milk of American mothers, at anywhere from 760 to 1,600 times the allowable limits in European drinking water.”
- “Urine testing shows Americans have ten times the glyphosate accumulation as Europeans.”
From these findings, we must have our family members consuming organic fruits,vegetables and meats that are grass-fed to avoid further added toxicity. In addition it’s imperative that we work toward strengthening the systems that have faltered from the this level of toxicity and improve the system of detoxification.

Many of our children did not develop other autistic symptoms. However, seizures remains to be one of the symptoms of autism and one of glyphosate toxicity. I often thought that my son was just few good genes away from developing autism. Fortunately, our functional approach to intervention worked effectively and allowed his body to heal.
