I’ve been practicing Nutrition for Seizures for 11 years.  Throughout my time as a practitioner working with families I have heard repeatedly that a diagnosis has been made by a qualified medical doctor.  Often with a diagnosis there is a prognosis attached to this.  In my practice I’ve focused more on the symptoms, less on the diagnosis and more on results, less on prognosis.   I find that my approach has brought great support and improvements for many clients over the years.

I meditate every morning and today I listened to one of my favorite medical doctor’s/spiritual leader, Deepak Chopra.   In his message “Journey to Perfect Health” Deepak reminds us that each and every one of us has a potential for perfect health.  Sometimes our health is less than perfect and that we need to remember that it is not our permanent state.  It’s only a moment in time.   Deepak uses wonderful familiar examples to remind us of how each moment we experience is temporary or a snapshot of our reality.    In his wording, he suggests recalling a photo you’ve taken at the beach.  In that photo there may be waves, during high tide, a couple holding hands, brids flying and/or other details.  This moment that we experienced in this picture will never happen again exactly as it was.  The waves will be different, the people on the beach may be different, the pose, position of the sun, dents in the sand will all be different.   We’ve all experienced snapshot moments in our lives.   It’s the same for our bodies.  Each moment is different from the last.  He further states we are the controller’s in our health destiny. We can find creative solutions to change and restore our health.  It’s a beautiful message and I wanted to share this with you.  I’d recommend listening to the full meditation and if need be many times per day.
