This study was conducted on mice, not nearly as reliable as a human study. Still this study reveals that potential positive effects curcumin, a natural anti-inflammatory herb derived from turmeric, has on the effects of seizures and seizure severity. The paper is referred to as “Ameliorative effect of Curcumin on seizure severity, depression like behavior, learning and memory deficit in post-pentylenetetrazole-kindled mice” and can be found here http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23461849
